Chain O Lakes State Park isn’t necessarily thought of as a wildlife hotbed, but I discovered more than my share of animals during a recent visit, from an insane bird who kept fighting with my car’s rearview mirror to raccoons who emerged in the dark and stole the food we had accidentally left out.
The scenery was a lot more spectacular than I expected, so I’ve decided to share a photo essay from the park. Enjoy.
